Can I just start with…
(If only I could get a little emoticon that was a cheshire cat head smiling and slowing rocking back and forth…)
Heehee… GOOD MORNING, my Darlings! How was everyone’s weekend?? Hot? Yipes I got way to much sun and am still feeling a little prickly under my work shirt BUT I still got in a little hammock nap time with Mr. Guava and the Boys and did a major overhaul of my garden… so in short mine was wonderful! Will post pictures of the work soon… and hopefully lots of garden fresh nummers sooner or later! I’m looking forward to a great week with LOTS of Revolution Craft Time so I may be around a little less than usual… or more because I’ll be hanging in front of Isadora… we shall see!
At any rate a little weekend catch-up! As I’ve been sort of on a crazy (but for the Revolution) internet shopping spree the last few weeks I’ve been coming home to lots of surprises on my porch! So many… I’m guilty to admit… that some have even been a surprise because I forgot I ordered them! Teehee… one such surprise showed up on Friday… via a recommendation from Think Outside the Cage…
Have you guys heard about these and I’ve just been living under a rock? You use these Nuts instead of laundry detergent! I just threw in my first Soap Nut washed load this weekend! So far so good… I’ll let everyone know if my clothes start sprouting!
I’m SO excited about these! And they really do make sense… even for once…economically… it’s not like well.. I’d rather pay more and not worry about dirty chemicals and slowly decimating the planet it’s ACTUALLY cheaper and no more difficult to use! Huzzah for SoapNuts and thanks for the head’s up Maya!
As for meals we did a couple out and with family… nothing super exciting but Oy… was this good…
Per Jeni’s suggestion we made a big ol’ double batch of her sausage and this time I actually cooked it at the right temperature… hehe… of course being more confident this time and again having neither red wine nor sun dried tomato around they didn’t resemble pepperoni at all but rather were sort of these Spicy Cilantro (had to use up a bunch before it went bad) Dogs. Mmm…. served up on Friday evening with Maui Onion Potato Chips and Ice Cold Hefeweizen and again on Sunday for a much needed power lunch after hours of gardening as seen above. Complimented by tomatoes from our garden and Mr. Guava’s boss’ garden as well as some fresh Farmer’s Market avocado slices…. completed with chopped onion and Picallily (the mustard not the headband). Man, I can’t even begin to tell you guys how good this stuff is AND like the Soap Nuts so easy! A perfect combo for summer!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
The Revolution is growing near friends…

Guava
