So Miss Bethany and her Spotted Devil Cat tagged me for: “What’s in your Vegan Freezer.” Here’s how it works…
What’s in your (vegan) Freezer? Started by Billy.:
- Take a picture of the items in your freezer
- Post the picture to your blog and give a summary of the items
- Tag 5 vegan bloggers.
I’m Tagging:
1. To Flourishing (Sorry, that’s what you get for knowing me in real life)
2. Knits w/ Carrots (Ditto)
3. Kimmy Kokonut (This blog is seriously amazing and will make you want to throw out whatever’s in your freezer and forage for the rest of your meals!)
4. Centrepullball (Vegan Mom extraordinaire!)
5. Love Like a Vegan (Ashley takes amazing pictures… and more importantly appreciates my jokes about lubricants)
**Hope ya’ll want to play because… YOU’RE IT!!!**
Here’s what’s in my boring and only vaguely vegan freezer:

Disclaimer: The boy in a sweet attempt to help me save Vegan Face removed some Butterfinger Dreyers in there before he took the picture
.
So let’s see…
Top Shelf:
1. Ice Trays
2. Leftover Lazy Lentils Soup (Told you I made a lot… hope it gets cold again soon.)
3. Tupperware full of Neatballs… those are from awhile back… probably have eggs in them… and now that I think about it should probably be discarded.
4. Pie Crust… can’t decide whether I want to use it for sweet or savory purposes.
Bottom Shelf:
5. Ice Tub
6. Leftover Chili (Will have to do a post on Chili and Rice sooner or later… another one of my melting pot Hawaiian comfort foods).
7. Frozen Fruit from a smoothie kick although my blenders seen more pesto than anything else.
8. Beer mug… not used nearly enough… Bocci & PBR anyone?
9. Ziploc of frozen spinach… just can’t seem to get through all my CSA greens fast enough but this works great for scrambles in the morning!
10. Ice Cream Maker Bowl… must try my hand at some sorbets…
**And that’s all… pretty lame actually… I’ll have to freeze more photogenic items in case I ever get tagged in one of these again… it’s THURSDAY!**

You can just tell everyone that the Butterfinger ice cream wasn’t really yours you were just “holding” it for me. Kind of like when the cops find weed in your car, but you tell them you were just “holding” it for a friend.

Thanks friend… now everyone knows I’m a bad vegan and are also vaguely suspicious that I’m a pothead.

I think your freezer is very organized. And having some homemade things in there is cool.
Mine is a pile of things that you have to wade through to find anything. If I do neaten it up, then it gets messy really fast. I’d like to blame it all on Andy, but that would be lying.
Hmmmm… how to make a freezer more photogenic. Maybe have some ice sculptures, arrange some boxes of frozen dinners in a cool pattern. Not much to work with.
